http://www.toshiba.co.th/download/support.html

I came across this link, its a firmware / software update.

Install this and vista should recognize gigabeat.

Vista does not recognize ANYTHING, if you have XP then KEEP IT.

I have learned about vista's compatibility issues the hard way,

and now im stuck with Vista and lovely payments from Dell.

SOURCE: Can't seem to transfer music files to my new MP610-2G

The cobyt player is completely incompatible with iTunes. If you have songs that are in mp3 format, you can use Windows Media Player to transfer the songs to your Coby. If your songs are already in AAC (iTunes) format, you can use a free program like Media Monkey to convert UNprotected AAC files to mp3 format so that they will be usable with your Coby. Media Monkey is not capable of converting protected files.

SOURCE: album art does not transfer with music on my sandisk mp3 player

Go to the sytem Settings menu and go to this option:
Display Art in Lists
Enabling this feature displays a small image of the song album cover, audiobook
cover, and photos when scrolling through list of these items.
1. Scroll down to Display Art in Lists and select it.

Manually add album art (WMP 11)
1. Run WMP.
2. Click Library on the top bar.
3. Select and right-click the file(s) you wish to update and select Advanced Tag Editor.
4. Click the Picture tab, then click Add.
5. Navigate to the image you wish to use for album art then click Open.
6. Click Apply then OK.

Enabling Home Sharing

Open iTunes.
Select the Home Sharing icon on the left-hand side of iTunes:

Note: After enabling Home Sharing, the Home icon representing your computer is no longer visible.

When prompted, enter your iTunes or App Store account name and password:

Note: Be sure to use the same iTunes / App Store account name when enabling Home Sharing on all computers you intend to share with.

Click Create Home Share.
Use the above steps to enable Home Sharing on additional computers on your local network.
Using Home Shares

Locate and click the Home Share you want to connect to under Shared on the left-hand side of iTunes:

View the contents of that Home Share.
While viewing that Home Share you can:
Stream Music and Video to your computer: Double-click a file to listen to music or view video content in the iTunes library
Manually Transfer iTunes Content to your iTunes library: Select the content in the Home Share that you want to transfer to your iTunes library, then drag the content to your iTunes library. It won't go past the "Creating Library" screen,

Hi,
To resolve this issue, I suggest you to FORMAT the player. Formatting the Player will delete all the files transferred. Before formatting the Player, get the back up of all the files transferred to the Computer. Once you format the Player, reset the Player and transfer all the songs back to the Player using the Software supplied. This will help you in resolving the issue.

How to transfer music/video from iPod to PC/iTunes 9

Anyone who has seen an iPod will understand the basic concept behind the design of the iPod touch: a 3.5-inch There are plenty of reasons why you want to transfer your music/video from iPod to iTunes or PC. For example, you may want to make backup your iPod music/video in case of hard drive crash, to retrieve iPod music/video when you accidentally deleted a song or video from your hard-drive, to share your music/video with your friend, to use your iPod with different or more than on computer, or to copy music/video to your new iPod.

Apple's iTunes really does work when it pulls iTunes purchased content off your iPod. The new iTunes 9 makes it easier to share music/video, movies, TV shows, and more. With Home Sharing, you can browse the iTunes libraries of up to five authorized computers in your house, import what you like, and automatically add new purchases made on any of the computers to your own library.

The iTunes 9 is nice for sharing the iTunes purchased content, but how to share the rest of your content of iPod with your friend, you'll need some additional software. There are a lot of programs that can transfer iPod content to iTunes 9 and PC. But from the point view of both functionality and simplicity, there is an iPod music/video Transfer which works well with all models of iPods including the latest iPod Touch 3G and iPod Nano 5G. Let's find it out.

The program is Wondershare iPod Transfer. By which, you can transfer usic/video between your iPod and PC freely, and you can transfer music/video to iTunes easily. First, connect your iPod to computer, and then you can do the following steps easily.

Select one or more files in the file list, and click 'to-compter', then you can transfer iPhone music/video to your computer to share with your friends.

Copy music/video from PC to iPod directly

Select one or more files in the file list, and click 'to-ipod', then you can copy music/video from your PC to iPod directly without synchronizing iTunes.

This iPod Transfer works well on all models of iPods to transfer music and video from iPod to PC and iTunes.
