so both lights are referencing the tire pressure? I thought maybe there was a break issue!so both lights are referencing the tire pressure? I thought maybe there was a break issue!
This happened to me as well TODAY... does it infact mean low tire pressure even though the red dot (#8 in the manual- anti theft light) comes on with it?This happened to me as well TODAY... does it infact mean low tire pressure even though the red dot (#8 in the manual- anti theft light) comes on with it?

By operating the tire pressure warning system reset switch, tire pressure warning system ECU can be set to issue a warning at an inflation pressure that corresponds with the type of tires.
Operate the tire pressure warning system reset switch only after the inflation pressures of all 4 tires have been adjusted on the vehicle.
To initialize the system, press and hold the tire pressure warning system reset switch for 3 seconds or longer with the power switch turned IG-ON. When starting the initialization, the tire pressure warning light blinks 3 times at 0.5 Hz.
During the initialization, the tire pressure warning system valve & transmitter measures the inflation
pressure of the tires, and registers the signals that are transmitted into the ECU at a frequency of 1 per
minute. The initialization process is completed when the signals from the tires have been received.
Once the tire pressure warning system reset switch has been pressed, do not turn the Ignition switch OFF for a few minutes.
By operating the tire pressure warning reset switch, the tire pressure warning ECU can be set to issue a warning at an inflation pressure that corresponds to the standard pressure of tires .Therefore, you must set the warning threshold to the proper value in order to comply with the local regulations .Operate the tire pressure warning reset switch only after the inflation pressures of all tires have been adjusted on the vehicle. To initialize the system, press and hold the tire pres- sure warning reset switch for 3 seconds or longer with the ignition switch in the ON position. BMW low tire pressure sensors use the speed sensors at the wheels to detect a flat tire. If any one tire is much newer or older than the other three, the warning will trigger. Tire chains tend to set it off as well.
There should be a button on the console that has a pattern that looks like the low pressure warning light - the profile of a tire with an explanation point inside. After you start the engine but before moving, press and hold that button until the warning light in the instrument cluster illuminates yellow. Then drive normally. That should re-initialize the tire pressure warning system.
A yellow explanation point symbol on the dashboard typically applies to the Tire Pressure Monitoring system. A thick ! inside a half drawn flat tire symbol to be complete and comes in yellow color when lit. Under normal vehicle set-up, if this indicator stays lit after the power-on selftest, you need to check your tires for any uneven pressures and adjust their pressures to correct specifications. Okay? : )
A red exclamation point inside a circle when lit indicates your parking brake is on, or your brake fluid level is low.
There are several waring lights on your dash so lets see if i can guess: does it look like this ( ! ) with some squiggly lines under it? If it is that's your tire pressure warning light tell you that one or more of your tires is low on air. after you correct you tire pressure you'll find a tire pressure reset switch just inside you glove box push it for a few seconds and your warning light should get cleared.
