Hi, Regarding Marantz UD8004 blu-ray player. Just wondering what formats in dvd-audio are supported by this unit. I mean, if I burn flac or wav or any lossless format on a dvd, can I play it without problems? Thank you!

VLC also releases applications for Android and IOS, and nativly supports almost all media file formats. This solution would enable you to use the file in its original format on your computer and not worry about conversion issues.

Most likely it will only play PCM, which is the raw audio format of prerecorded audio cds. It will not play mp3 or flac or any of the newer formats. You can try a wav one and see but it may not work.
