I can not get my jvc kd-r610 on fm radio. lost the manual. help

Follow the instructions on page 4 of this manual.

Double check that the wires are connected properly. Also verify that all of the leads are operating as they should with a multimeter. If you used a harness adapter verify both before and after the adapter.

did you check the voltage on the battery? if it is less then 10 volts, the radio will not work.

Try disconnecting your battery, reconnecting it, and resetting your stereo. If that doesn't work, the constant power (yellow wire) or ignition wire (red wire) may have come in contact with ground or isn't properly connected. Make sure everything is connected properly and try resetting your stereo. If it is still flashing "protect", the unit needs servicing Contact JVC Customer Care Center at: 800-252-5722.

You should verify your wiring .Also check all fuses. that is on the radio and for the power wire (red) .

push the sel botton for 5 second, with the volume --ff & rew botton select wath do you want.

- The 0.2MHz odd steps are standard for US radios. Try resetting the radio (recessed button under the front panel) If this a US radio then this may not help.
