I don't have repair for defective timer.
The wheel at top is probably the issue. Move the wheel with your thumb and experiment with the timer.
As a general rule, the timer will not bite you.

Open following link for analog timer instructions:
http://waterheatertimer.org/How-to-set-timers.html

My files show that 49550 is analog timer with trippers that install on timer dial.

On the Noma timer Mod 49550/tm151p how can you tell when the switch is on

1) Noma is old Intermatic brand name used by companies today to brand their timer.

2) Noma is usually associated with Woods timers.

3) Woods numbers also frequently start with 495 and with TM.
For example Woods has 49588 49556 and 78 84 29 28 62 57 33 53 65 44 68 32 77, but 49550 does not show

4) It is likely that you have a Woods brand timer.

5) Add a comment with in-focus photograph of timer for possible identification

6) Open following link to possibly identify timer, and then add a comment saying which timer is same-similar to yours.

Noma Multipurpose Timer, I pressed the grey buttons down and set it to the time I want it to start but the lights still won't turn on!

I answer questions for free.
I specialize in timers.
Noma is a Woods timer.

But Woods makes lots of timers.
I probably have the manual and can look up the information.
But I don't know without the model number.

If you know the model number, add a comment, and I will answer for free.
If you want to post a photo of your timer, I can look at it that way.
The following link shows how to include a photo of your product when you add a comment:

Would like the above question answered. it wasn't

I also forgot how to set the timer. Start with all pins pushed outward. Only push inward toward the center, the pins (time) you want the timer to turn on the item.

Lost instuctions to program Model N1560 Noma outdoor timer

Use the top button to adjust the current time & then push the bottom button once to save. Next is the time you want the lights to turn on & push bottom button once to save. The last setting is the time you want the lights to turn off. Don't forget to use the . (period) indicator for the pm setting. (I had the same problem and had to search the net to find someone else who had posted the instructions.)

Machine wont aggitate, supplies water then sits, can sometimes

Dont know what type of unit you have, but that usually means that you have a timer that is going bad, or has already went bad. You can also have a bad water level pressure switch, which shuts the water off, but doesnt send a signal to the timer. Both are located under the console.

Need help asap, please!

Turn your timer to spin cycle ( doesnt need any water)and turn it on.Now if its starts spinning and than shuts off immediatley turn it back on, if there is nothing happening when you try this >>>Replace your motor. There is a 15% chance that your timer is broken and is sending improper current to the motor.First change motor. If you have been running this on a extension cord or when your community is using alot of electricity it would be the reason your at this problem.Dont run Appliances on super Hot Days ,use them in the evening and your motor will run at a low temperature.
