open disc drive (cd rom) place restore disc in . turn off computer and turn it back on. follow instructions on screen. on re-boot you might have to hit the f8, f10 or f12 key to get started if you can, go to e-machine.com to get tech advice.
If you kept the disc that came with the mp3 player just stick it in and it should be ok!!! if you dont have the disc just go to the manufacturer's website and it should have driver downloads for your type of mp3 player there. hope this helps.
if you dont have the recovery disc for your computer, you will need to purchase a new windows installer, ones it is installed just download the drivers from the manufacturer website.
what all have you lost? most of the time the right drivers are all ready on the computer if it come as a pagage deal most of the time the cables are easy to find. the only problem is how it is powered some have a proady power supply.
