Olevia Hi Def tv 242TFHD, won't turn on. Power
yes the capacitors your looking for are a 1000uf , 1500 uf , and on the other side of the heatsink a 680 uf. the tops will be slightly bowled. replace those with same type !not brand!, and youll be happy.(same thing happened to me, less than 2 years old also).
My flat screen lcd Olevia 242 s11. will not turn
I assume that you checked to ensure that the power connection is good and that there is power to the plug (or power strip/surge protector) that the TV is connected to. Is the blue light on the front of the set on? This would indicate that the set is in standby mode. If there are no lights at all on the front - this indicates an internal power circuit failure has occurred. Could be a blown fuse or surge capacitor. Also could be that the power failure/fluctuation "wiped" the TV's memory.
Try this - it might work to "reset" the TV to factory default settings (if there is no component failure/defect in the TV).
1. Unplug the TV and leave it unplugged for 10 - 30 minutes.
2. Before plugging it back in - press and hold the main Power On/Off switch for about 10 seconds. Then release it.
3. Plug the set back in. The front panel "standby" light should be lit .
4. Turn the TV on normally. If no response - press and hold the Power button for about 10 seconds to see if it will power up.
If it now works, after a few seconds pause, it should start automatically scanning for active channel inputs and storing them in memory. If not, go to the Settings menu and select "Channel Search" (or "auto-scan" or whatever the appropriate command is to have the TV search for and program in all active TV channels available from your input signal source).
If it still will not power up normally (or the standby light is not lit), then there's probably a blown fuse or capacitor or other internal component failure or fault. If this is the case - the TV will have to be diagnosed/repaired by a reputable TV repair facility. If it's still under warranty, I would contact the manufacturer's Customer Service department and just tell them that the set has failed and will not turn on.
NOTE: Always use a quality surge protector power strip or power filter device for sensitive electronic equipment, such as digital TV sets, home theater systems, stereo systems, etc (especially expensive items).if you are using surge protector its well and good.
This will help. Thanks please keep updated. please do

It sounds like the LCD controller board problem, usually if you cool it down the problem will go away, and comes back when it heats up again.

Fault to its main board.
Short circuited component/s at it. Contact any service technician; or the authorized service center. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Surf the site with patience. Pull up older posts.

Try disconnecting unit from power source for several minutes.
Before re-connecting power hold power button for 5 seconds and I hope this resolves your problem.
Tv manual LT26HVX
If you are looking for the operators manual, that can usually be down loaded from the manufacturers web site.
If you are looking for a service manual, I use
www.servicemanuals.net , You have to register and there is a fee involved for each manual you order, but you can download the service/schematic manuals for immediate use. They have an extensive library, but not everything.
Olevia 432 missing screws
ok take the tv in to the home depot hardware store..go to the aisle where the hardware nuts/bolts/screws are..need to look either in the metric stuff and have a service person help you find the right size screws.. they carry them there..lowes does also but they are a bit more expensive..
