you must have set your THEATRE by few codes whichever options you got in the setting options and you must have set some password so noone can use it except you and now you hv forgot the password please do not try it again call to the technicians they have few codes to reset the system again and unlock the system and some times it reaches to the factory setting ..please do not try to reset your HOME THEATRE by your own it may the result of some more loss

Static is audio, so the speakers are probably working. What source(s) produce the static (FM maybe)? Have you referred to the manuals for setup and are NOT mismatching speakers and amps?

What about the TV settings? Does it have PIP or some other mode that would overlay an image on the program already playing on another input? Or is the black box only there when you monitor the input from the HT?

The system must run through its routine before it can start up. If a mechanism is jammed or a switch is not contacting, it won't complete its routine and therefore will not start up.

Question edited for clarity. It you have standby, that shows you have power. The only things you can try is a Power Reset, disconnect from the mains, for 10 minutes. Press and hold the power button for 60 seconds and then plug back in. If you are using a remote, check the batteries in the remote. You can also do the check to make sure the remote is putting out a signal. Aim the remote at the front facing selfie of a smartphone. You should see a flash.
