Danby customer service told me that it was built into the machine. The machine would shut off for about 15 minutes after that loud noise occurs. Then would finish the cycle after that point? Got infants, buy one of these products! LOL

1)check drain is happening.
2)remove the block in the drain.

Hello Dawn. A clog in the drain line or air gap (if there is one) is the usual reason that a dishwasher won't drain. Often the problem is at the point where the drain line attaches to the garbage disposer or household drain line. If you remove this line, you can clear any debris from the hose or hose connection. Be sure to reattach the hose before starting the dishwasher again. Regards, Joe

The first thing I would check is to see if you turned the water valve on under the sink.

E2 is a hose issue. There is either a kink in the hose, the hose is too high to drain or the pump is faulty.

Google will bring up a vast amount of information & most of it not what you are looking for BUT If you adhere your search specifically for the information you require, It Should bring up what you are looking for as well as Outlets & phone number you can call to check for such parts. Don't be afraid to Be a little cheeky over the telephone & Ask (if they can't help) if they can recommend an outlet that could help.. OH and have they got that particular number too ;)

This worked! My dishwaser was properly draining, but this time it stucked with the blinking glass light. Powering off/on, didn't work.
I tipped it forward and a little bit of water fell off of the bottom front panel. Pluged it back and it now works! Thanks!

Is the outlet controlled by a switch? Is the power button turned on? Is the door closed shut. If you've been running this dishwasher for a year means you know how to use it. I think a malfunction of some kind. Usually an error code will appear but no power.... No code

Turn off the mains power overnight. Run two cycles with no detergent. You can put lightly soiled items in and they should still come out reasonably clean.

You can normally access through the base or from the back panel.

If it just has no water, then it would be a fairly safe bet it was the water inlet valve. If it is completely unresponsive, that points to either a power issue or a control board issue. You will need a Service Technician, and you may be better off with a new one depending on the age of it. The reviews put it at about 3 years old and $429.
