First of all put off the phone for some time allow the phone to relax it self for about five minute then put it on again then note reaction of the phone,if the problem remain then apply this

With Cox Enhanced Webmail your email remains on the samsung servers until it is downloaded onto your computer. Mail that is not downloaded consumes your allotted 2 GB of mail storage space. To save server space, you can set up your Cox email account in an email client of your choice.

here is the user manual .. usually you would dial 9 to get an outside line .. or just push one of the open line buttons. No batteries are needed it gets its power from the phone line.

Message Light won't stop

If you have vmail and no msgs and the only light that is flashing is the light at the top right of the display, what that is flashing for is someone set a msg to your phone from another phone on your system. Try this :

without picking up the handset , dial 43 .
the display should show the ext # that set the msg and an option to reply or clear . press the btn under the display where it says clear and the msg will clear and the light will go out.

Call fordwarding

At your phone, without picking up handset.

Press Transfer
Dial 102
use the volume key to scroll to EXT FWD
Press the Right soft key under display (The Btn just Left of the scroll btn under display)
Dial 9 plus your cell # and press the right soft key again
display will say (currently set = no) press the volume key up to change to yes and press right soft key again.
Press Transfer to finish.

Once this is set , all you have to do when you want to set fwd back to busy/noans to vmail, just dial 604. to change it back to external to cell phone just dial 606..

In our office we have Samsung LCD 12B phones. We had a power outage 2 days ago and now only one phone will ring. We are also unable to make calls outbound but there is a dial tone.

Hi, for the phone that is malfunction, you'll need to setup as if it was brand new. The outage probably caused it to lose most of it's memory from the initial setup. To avoid having any difficulties, please reference the manual as you're going through these steps. Thank you.

Samsung IDCS 28D says "Self test start ! # to next test" and constantly beeps a tone.

Must reset all extensions with individual extension numbers after a power outage. Just the same as starting the phone out of the box. Thanx.
