Error code 20?
Good Morning Friend, this is Z, Thank you for your post!
An error code E20 commonly refers to water not pumping out fast enough or draining properly from your Frigidaire washer. First, check the drain hose for any restrictions or kinks. If you have check the hose and it appears to be clear and free, then potentially the underlying issue may be the main control board or pump. Generally it is a good idea to have a professional take a look at it to get to the root cause. Cost of parts and technical expertise entailed in these types of replacements can be a bit tricky. Hope this helps!

Pump making loud noise when draining water
Sometimes the coin trap needs to be emptied, coins and hard objects that fall out of pockets will end up there. Mine will make noises every year or so and I have to empty it. It's not difficult, you just have to lie on your back to get to it. Your manual should tell you where it is, if that is the problem. Good luck.

Affinity washer flashing EFO
Good Morning Friend,
I understand that your Frigidaire Affinity washer, model# ATF7000E, is flashing an EFO code. I do not show an EFO code for your appliance.
I do show an EF1 code, which means the drain pump is clogged. In this instance you would unclog the drain pump.
I also show an EF2 code, which means too much soap was used. All you would do for this would be to try using less soap.
It could also be a false error code. I suggest resetting your washer, by either unplugging it or shutting the power off at your homes circuit breaker, for 3-5 minutes. When you restore power, start any cycle on your washer. I ask that you please follow up with a comment on the post, at your convenience, to advise if further troubleshooting is needed or if your washer status has changed successfully. Hope this is helpful.
-Best Regards-

How do you replace the timer on a frigidaire frontload washer
Good Morning Friend,
I understand you are trying to replace the timer on your Frigidaire Affinity washer, model# ATF7000E. If it is just the selector knob you are replacing, you should only have to snap the new knob on. If it is anything other than the selector knob, typically it is not a do it yourself repair. I do suggest contacting your local authorized technician for further assistance. They have been trained on your specific appliance, and will be able to better assist, and replace the timer on your washer. Hope this is helpful.

My frigidaire affinity front load washer buzzes and will not cycle what wouldcause that?
Good Morning Friend,
I see that your Frigidaire Affinity washer, model# ATF7000E, is buzzing and will not cycle. Some possible causes of this could be:
-Your washer is overloaded with clothes. Try taking some clothes out and restarting.
-There could be an article of clothing that might have slipped in between the gasket and the drum that might be stopping the drum from spinning. Check to see if there are any clothes that might be missing and possibly stuck between the drum and gasket.
If you have tried the above solutions and are still having trouble, I suggest giving your washer a hard reset. You will do this by either unplugging it or shutting the power off at your home's circuit breaker for 2-3 minutes. After the time has passed, restore power and start a cycle. If your appliance is still buzzing and not spinning, I suggest that you contact your local authorized technician for further assistance. They will be able to diagnose your washer and determine the cause of the buzzing and why it is not spinning. Hope this is helpful.

Error code E20
The E20 error code is usually something clogging the pump system.
Umplugg the machine. In the back you can access the drain hose. Pull the clamp with pliers and then the larger clamp to the tub. Pull the pump with a screwdriver there will be a black rubber still attached to the pump. Watch how you pull this there is indexing to the way the pump is mounted take a pictutre and mark the pump. Look inside the hose and see if there is something cloging it. I’m happy to help further over the phone at

Slow spin speed
Assuming you have reviewed the front panel options/settings verifying your spin speed is set to a spped above slow/low, the unit will wash forward, and reverse, and there are no error codes during your cycle, your most suspect part will be the door latch/lock assy. Part# 131763202. In some cases the final leaf contacts within the lock assy that make when the wax motor energizes do not make good contact. Pleazer Appliance...

Code saids pau
If the PAU error does not clear after properly restarting the washing machine cycle, push "Cancel," then disconnect the power cord. Wait a few minutes and restore power to see if the error code goes away. If not, the control board may need to be replaced.

Water not draining at all
Good Afternoon Brandon,
I see that you are having trouble with your Frigidaire Affinity washer, model# ATF7000E, not draining water.
I would start by making sure that the drain hose to your washer is not kinked at all as well as your drain pipe not clogged.
Next make sure that the drain hose is only 6-8 inches down in the drain pipe.
If you are still having trouble with your washer draining, you will want to give your washer a hard reset. You can do this by either unplugging it or cutting the power at the circuit breaker for 2-3 minutes. It could just be a miscommunication between the different boards inside your appliance.
Once power is restored, if you are still having trouble with your appliance not draining, I would recommend contacting either the manufacturer or your local authorized technician. Hope this helps.

Not working
Good Afternoon James,
I see that you are still having trouble with your Frigidaire Affinity washer, model# ATF7000E, finishing and now starting a load, even after replacing the door lock.
I would start by making sure that your washer door is completely closed.
Next I would check to make sure that your washer controls are not locked. You will see a "LOC" code if the controls are locked. To get them out of the lock mode, press and hold the "Options" and "Select" buttons at the same time for 10 seconds.
If you are still having trouble you will want to give your washer a hard reset. You can do this by either unplugging it or cutting the power at the circuit breaker for 2-3 minutes.
Once power is restored, if you are still having trouble with your appliance either not starting or not completing the cycle, I would recommend contacting either the manufacturer or your local authorized technician. Hope this helps.
-Best Regards-

It freezes on the cycles
Good Morning Juan,
I see that you are having trouble with your Frigidaire Affinity washer, model# ATF7000E, freezing on the cycles and giving you an Error message 11. The E11 states that fill time is too long. There are a couple of things to check in this case. First, you will want to reset your appliance by either unplugging it or cutting the power at the circuit breaker for at least 2-3 minutes. When you restore power you can start a cycle and see if it works. If it does, there just might have been some miscommunication between the different boards inside the washer. If it is still giving you the E11, you will want to make sure that the water pressure is at least 30 PSI. Make sure you're not using any other water sources while using the washer. Also make sure that the faucets are fully opened going into the appliance and that the hoses are not kinked in any way. If you are still having trouble receiving that E11, I suggest contacting the manufacturer for further assistance. Hope this has helped.
-Best Regards-

Does not drain
Good Morning Les, thank you for your post!
Often when your washer does not drain, it is because it cannot properly dispose of the water and detergent solution. Does your washer make a humming noise? If so, the drainage hose/pump may be clogged and needs to be cleaned. If not, your washer may possibly be experiencing an issue with the door lock assembly, faulty pump, timer or control board not communicating correctly. Because it could be a number of any one of several underlying causes, I would recommend contacting a professional to properly diagnose and repair your appliance. If you don't know a qualified technician, you can use the service locator option on the manufacturer site to find one near you.
Best regards!

Won't lock and won't cancel
Good Afternoon Sheila, thank you for allowing me to assist you!
Let's try resetting your washer. This can be done by either unplugging it or flipping the household circuit to the off position. It is important to wait roughly ten minutes and then your washer on. Will the door lock? If the issue persists, then more than likely the unit is experiencing a communication issue with the control board or has a faulty door latch/lock assembly. In this regard, I would suggest contacting an Authorized Service Technician that will be able to assist you in the diagnosis of your appliance.
