try unpluggin the device wait 30 or so minutes and then plug it back up and start over!

May have to do a factory reset on your device.

Perform a hard reset.

1. Hold the reset button on the back.
2. Hold the Power button down.
3. Release the reset button.
4. Release the Power button.
5. Press the Contacts button when prompted.

To me this sounds like a faulty battery which can easily be replace. Try searching for a new battery online and im sure this problem will fix itself.

if the bandwith on your computer is insufficient it will not recognize the connection. Try using a different USB port and you may find it works.

I see your problem.Try wiping the corners of your pda gently with a business card. This may help as unresponsive screens occur due to dust trapped under the casing.Remeber to practice this every 3 months.Good Luck :)

Try a new battery, particularly if it's more than 2 years old.

Your buggered lol got same problem :( Ive looked into it got latest drivers and its netgears fault. Apprently you require their adapter for laptops etc exepct laptops connect because i dunno, but pda devices wont? Yeah i dunno its odd :S Im temp switching from wpa to wep for my pda that works :D
