Logitech LX5 Cordless Optical Mouse Questions & Answers
Left button does not always open link/menu box
That's not abnormal; some links provide primary drop-down choices when you place your cursor on them and enable you to select a choice by left-clicking on one of the choices. Others only enable you to select certain actions by right-clicking to see a drop-down list.
HAW INSTAL WIRLES MOUSE
Just plug in the dongle. Insert Battery. There is no installation. It will work without any drivers.
Cannot locate how to change the batteries
If the mouse doesn't have a little door to open on the bottom, then try this. Just behind the Left and Right keys where your hand rests, apply firm pressure down on the cover and slide to the rear. Some mouse manufactures have used this type of access to replace the batteries.
Hope this helps. Bud

Hi my LX5 stopped working on some of the surfaces.
Don't know about the different surfaces problem, but the batteries...I had similar problem with duracell charger/rechargeables and my digital camera. I bought new batteries, charged them up and they didn't last long at all. I finally bought a brand new charger and batteries and they work great as they should. Maybe the charger is bad or try cleaning the charger battery contacts with pencil eraser to see if that helps. Also, some devices work best with "normal" batteries.
My Logitech LX5 wireless optical mouse has never worked properly
hi im josh in cebu phils.may i help you? Friend try my gathered solutions.
This problem has a simple solution—replace your batteries! Low batteries in a wireless device will cause all sorts of problems. In a mouse, this typically means that the cursor slows down, jerks around, or seems to hit an invisible wall. Fresh batteries should fix things right up.
If new batteries don't fix the problem, you have some sort of wireless interference. Try moving the wireless receiver to a new position—preferably away from other wireless devices (wireless network adapters/base stations, cordless phones, baby monitors, and the like). If interference continues, see if you can change transmitting/receiving channels on one of the devices, or consider turning off the interfering device while you're computing. Good luck friend hope i helped you.
