I just got a Logitech wireless mouse. Model # is not stated on it. I have no manual. Wondering how I get it to work after turning it "on". I pressed reset and nothing happened on the computer screen. At present I also have an hp mouse hooked up to my computer. Would this affect it?

Same thing happens to me. Only way i can get it to work is if it plug another mouse into the green slot, then unplug it and plug in my logitech while the computer is on. Trying to re-establish connection or rebooting my computer doesn't do anything.

Problem for me is, not even a reboot/reset/reconnect will get the mouse working. It started working for me once, yesterday, after a reboot - otherwise, it's a brick. A very expensive brick.

The wireless mouse is causing my computer and monitor to freeze up. I returned it to the retail outlet and I am still having the same problem with the second one . My daughter purchased one at the same time and they are not having any problems. They have windows XP and I have windows Vista.

Turn the mouse ON before starting the computer. Then if it doesn't connect, press the button on the USB receiver and then the mouse should work.
Hope this helps. Bud

Receiver will not light up so the mouse nor the receiver works? help

The reciever for this mouse does not have a light, however, your USB might be a dud (on your computer) so try another port. Also replace the batteries inside your mouse with new ones. This should fix the problem. Then reconnect them with the button on the reciever. Also make sure to hit the power button on the bottom of the mouse. If this does not work, then your mouse if fried and you need a new one.

My Logitech LX5 wireless optical mouse has never worked properly

hi im josh in cebu phils.may i help you? Friend try my gathered solutions. This problem has a simple solution—replace your batteries! Low batteries in a wireless device will cause all sorts of problems. In a mouse, this typically means that the cursor slows down, jerks around, or seems to hit an invisible wall. Fresh batteries should fix things right up.
If new batteries don't fix the problem, you have some sort of wireless interference. Try moving the wireless receiver to a new position—preferably away from other wireless devices (wireless network adapters/base stations, cordless phones, baby monitors, and the like). If interference continues, see if you can change transmitting/receiving channels on one of the devices, or consider turning off the interfering device while you're computing. Good luck friend hope i helped you.

LX5 Cordless Optical Mouse - Rotation Function not working

Did you try checking the mouse settings via the control panel.

You should have some new software. In the logitech manager you will find a place to edit the mouse buttons.
