try formatting it from the device if that does not work find the reset button

I had the same problem, usually plugging it into the usb port on the pc and verifying the files on the player, then disconnecting the player will solve the problem. Other times i have to reformat the player, if you do that, you will have to put all your music back on. It's a pain, this has happened to me 4 times, I've only had this thing less than 6 months! It was inexpensive, I guess you get what you pay for, but I like having a AAA battery instead of having to remember to plug it in to the pc to recharge every 15 hrs.

The problem has nothing to do with the battery nor the memory. The problem here is the program itself. You need to re-flash the FIRMWARE of the device. Here's what you need to do: 1. Know the default firmware version of the MP3. Check the user manual or the CD that came with it (if there's a CD). 2. If your MP3 came with a CD, check if the CD if it has the firmware that you could use and install it to your MP3. The instructions should be in the manual. 3. If the CD does not carry the firmware, contact the manufacturer and have them do it for you. I'm hoping that the device is still under the warranty. Having the firmware installed in your device should not cost you too much if the device is out of warranty. Have a great day!

you cant format a mp3 player it deletes all of the system start up memory. the only fix is to buy a new one.

Have you tried using a different usb port?

When you download your Audible audiobook, it should also download a program called AudibleManager. While in AudibleManager, play your audiobook. When you do so, it should ask you to log in using your Audible name and password. After you do this (you don't have to listen to the whole thing), you should be able to upload it to your device with no license problems.

You should press the "Menu" button (two seconds) -> in the screen there will be message "Play Music" confirm this message by pressing "Menu" button again. Please enjoy your music!!!!

If one of the files you uploaded has a different format (e.g. OGG), or a name with special characters,... the MP3 player will FREEZE.

Connect the device to your computer (USB port), remove the unrecognized files, unmount properly, empty the trash while unmounting.

It should work again.

So, when you upload additional files, do it gradualy. It will be easyer to identify the faulty...

I dont see an obvious problem. Got to http://lrclyrics.50webs.com and go through the "How to use" section and see if you are doing the same thing.

start the wizard search for one before you plug it in.
