Question about Teac MP-111 MP3 Player
When I connect it to my home pc it says "new hardware detected" and it shows up in Device Manager and states device is working properly but does not show up as a drive in MY COMPUTER. The display on the MP3 player says "USB TRANSFERRING" and it should display "USB CONNECTED". On my pc at work it works properly. I running XP SP 2 on both computers. It seems to be hanging up on my home computer. Any suggestions?
SOURCE: how to reset
The best way to fix your problem is to connect to the computer go to My Computer find where you are connected and click on the right of your mouse you will find the menu which will have in it format. Just reformat you mp3 and you will be very happy with your mp3 and be clean and green again

Quue I had many of the same problems as listed above. what worked for me was to go here and download the firmware upgrade installer. Follow the directions and be sure to check the reformat box b4 you start. My pearl th1100a is working fine now.
Hope this helps

SOURCE: RCA TH1611 MP3 Player Wont work
I just fixed my issue. I went to the website listed here and reloaded my software. It erased everything, but I just loaded all my music back on after it reset. It now works and is good to go. http://voxrightnow.custhelp.com/cgi-bin/voxrightnow.cfg/php/enduser/std_adp.php?p_faqid=2241
