My Saeco Vienna Digital will

Hi ianiven,

Your Saeco Vienna do have a separate heating system for steam. One of the common reasons why there's no steam produced is that the machine is full of scale. To clean it this requires you to remove the top and side panel. Follow the Teflon pipe from the steam wand and it will lead you to the steam solenoid valve and the small copper steam heating system. You have to disassemble both. You can then, remove any scale and dirt. After cleaning, assemble the machine.

Hope it helps.

I have a Saeco Italia.

Hi hyatt995,

You have already tried the first step in solving this problem with the red light which is running a water through the wand. The next thing to do is ventilate. Purge the air out of the system by turning on the knob, the pump should run. Keep it running until the red light stops.

If that didn't resolve the issue then check if you're getting water flow when the machine is in prime mode. If not, then, there is a possible blockage. When the flow sensor determined no water flow it triggers the red light to come on.Check if there's blockage in the line from the heater to the steam wand. Which is easily reached from the back panel (removed)

Turn off power and unplug; release pressure by turning knob (wand) to full. Remove back panel and look at the silver heater (with two hoses attached) Remove the closest host (it goes directly to the steam wand) To remove, carefully remove cotter pin and use a needle nose plier to pull up on the hose (careful not to lose the two red washers) They will need to be put back on the hose when you are done.

Inspect the inside of this hose; most likely this is your blockage. Use a sewing needle or toothpick to dig out the deposits. Reassemble (push the hose down into the heater and hold there while inserting the cotter pin) If you don't get it latched in; the hose can dislodge and spray inside the machine. Turn steam wand to off. Power on and put machine into prime mode. With any luck you should get water flow from the nozzle now and the light will turn off.

Hope it helps.

According to your problem first descale the machine. If descaling doesn't solve your problem then you may need wash or replace the water Aqua prima filter.
If the coffee machine is not used for 3 days then washing the Aqua prima filter is recommended. You may also need to replace the aqua prima filter in the tank.

Beans don't seem to go into the machine upon use

The grinding burrs need cleaning if we consider that nothing have damage them.
First and simple advice is to use the vacum cleaner and try to s**k everything from the grinder and try again the machine. If the problem is insist then you need to resasemble the grinder and clean the hole grinder with the vacum and also with a wire brush.
Good luck

Hi I have a Saeco

on some of the saeco models i have found people generaly forget to clean the tip of the nozzle where the water comes out by using a small pin or a needle it gives you the ability to clean this area allowing for the water to flow out of the machine. This situation is sometimes cuased by to fine of a grind going through the machine. And when the grind reaches the nozzle tip it binds together causing a blockage. The setting for how fine the grind is usually in these machines goes to about 8 but at no time are you supposed to use this setting or it would cause issues in the future with your machine the manufacturer actually suggests 5 for the setting and to slowly move the setting forward to 6 or 7 depending on the strength of the brew you are makeing. Clean the tip of the nozzle head with the pin or needle and message me back on how you made out I await your reply Thanks again Rick

Remove the brew unit and check the screen below the red o-ring that might be blocked. If the screen is clear and you still get the same result then you will have to remove the 2 screws from the top of screen to the output tube, carefully there is a spring and in there we do not want to lose, then clean out tube and you should be back in business.

The water pressure is high possible because the grind is really fine, however water is not supposed to go through the valve unless it is open, you might have to replace the steam valve assembly.

Hi
Machine 2 is the steam manifold leaking. You have to remove the hose clip in the back of the steam manifold. Remove the hose. Grab the trough in the back and pull up to expose the manifold. It will push out the front. If its white is very old, and if its black its a newer one. If its metal it is priobably the O-rings just need to be replaced. I still have the white one in my machine, because I cool the manifold off after using and that won't let it crack from the high heat after steaming. That is what causes them to crack.
Machine one, I would check under the red boot covers by the boiler for a bulge in the hoses. That is usually where they rupture. Make the new hose(tube) a little longer to prevent this from happening again.

Hi
There is a small knob in the bean hopper. It is all the way to the plus(+). Turn it back towards the minus(-) 1 mark. Then try again. It could also be the grinder is separated and is putting to large of a grind into the brew unit. When you have dry grounds dumped into the dredge drawer, it is because the brew unit can't compress it. If it is done too many times it will break the brew drive.

Hello Mpetersen99,

I understand that your are having a problem with your Incanto Classic Espresso Machine. Due to the fact that you purchase the unit in December I would suggest that you contact the manufacturer at the following address and the unit has a one year parts and labor warranty.

Saeco USA Customer Service Department
7905 Cochran Rd. - Suite 100
Glenwillow, OH 44139
Call:1.800.933.7876

My Saeco Incanto Deluxe occasionally

Hi
Grounds and water under the machine or drip tray indicate that the drain behind the brew unit is plugged.
Remove the brew unit. You will see the injector in the back of the machine. Below the injector is a pocket that the excess pressure is relieved into when the machine is done making a coffee. This pocket will plug up with ground and oils. The drain is just above the center of the drip tray. Insert something into the drain and see if you can unplug it. Once it has drained run some hot soapy water through the pocket.

I was cleaning the grinder

Hi
To return the brew group to the centered position, you first need to drop the funnel. To do this, look on the opposite side of the brew group from the handle. At the top you will see an object that looks like a sharks fin. If you follow this piece down you will see 2 horizontal bars on the brew group body. Push your finger between these 2 bars and the funnel will drop. Now you can push the puck slide on the left side down and to the center. (You can insert your key into the hole in the front and twist the key to return the brew unit to the center. Line up the 2 diamonds and it centered) If you look down through the funnel you should see a piston. This should be centered in the funnel. If not, locate the slide on the left side of the brew unit,(it should be hanging down, a flat rectangular piece attached to the cylinder) and push the slide to the right until it does. Push the press button and you are now ready to reinsert the brew group in to the machine. First you must insert the drip tray and dredge drawer, close the door and turn on the machine without having the brew group in. Turn the machine on. You will hear the motor turn on and when it stops completely, open the door and remove the tray, now insert the brew group and replace the tray, and test.

I have a Saeco Incanto Classic.\r\nI have noticed

HI
The first thing you need to do is increase the amount of coffee going into the brw unit. Turn the small knob up towards the plus+ but 1 mark from the full +. This will take up the air space the water is occuping and then see if you have a sloppy puck. If you still do your grind is to coarse and needs to be tiurned down but never lower than 6 and only when grinding. If you grind doesn't change ( remember it takes 3 cycles to change the grind in the brew unit) your grinder may be bad.

I have an Saeco Incanto

HI
When you want to empty the grounds because it says to in the menu, REMEMBER, LEAVE THE MACHINE ON when you remove the drawer. The machine is a counter and when it reaches the magic number for that machine the message comes on. If the machine is turned off when you pull the drawer out, the machine doesn't know this and the message will be there when you turn the machine back on. Also remember to leave the drawer out for at least 15 seconds or a little longer so the machine thinks you actually dumped the grounds.

Most likely you have calcium flake deposits clogging the orifice/jet/valve, that restricts the flow of water until heated properly. As the water starts to flow the flakes collect and block the water flow. Periodic cleaning will cure this and prevent damage to the, orifices, jets, valves and heating elements of your machine ( as calcium builds up it tends to insulate the heating element thus requiring more energy/heat to complete the task). Eventually the heating element will over heat and burn out. Periodic cleaning extends the life of the machine plus the added bonus of a better tasting " Cup of JOE".
Most any cleaning preparation designated for a "Mr. Coffee " type machine will do the job. If you want a home remedy 3-4 tablespoons of white distilled vinegar per cup of water ( calculate for the size of your water reservoir ). But please do it outside on the patio, as the vinegar tends to be in competition with the air freshener, and will win.

sincerely,
Doc Michael
