Ink inserts show adequate ink but printed copies not proper color
Try this: Using the Guide for the software (don't you have an icon for the guide on your desktop?) select the "printing" troubleshooting option. It should show the steps to cleaning the print heads and how to do a nozzle check. It is really easy to do both, just click where it reads "clean print heads" and "nozzle check." I'm not positive this is the solution to your problem but it is worth a try--better than trying to get anything out of Epson's tech support. (Good luck with that!) I hope this does help.
IS THERE ABILITY TO PRINT BLACK INK ONLY WHEN OUT OF COLOR INK?
first go to your start menu. Then click on Printer and Faxes. When there right click on your printer and select Properties. When this window opens go to the General tab; then go to the Color tab. There you will see a box that you can check for printing in Gray Scale Only. Check this. After you have checked it, you can then check Black only.
If you wish for this to remain that way until you replace the other colors, be sure to click on APPLY or it will only print the first thing that way. After you have replaced the ink cartridges, use the same tabs to cancel the gray scale selection!
Lcd screen
Try printing some thing using your computer and not from the LCD screen it should set things up ok after.

Epson stylus rx500 prints too magenta-ie
Try replacing the magenta cartridge...
Does it also do this when you try to use it as a copier? If so,
try to clean the head.. If it only happens when you're printing from the computer, try to reinstall the driver
Printer errors
Go to control panel and delete the printer icon from there. Unplug the printer, restart the computer, when the computer is back on, reconnect the printer... This should automatically create another printer icon in "printers and faxes" ... try printing the windows test page.
Problem printing
Turn off high speed printing from the printer properties... This will allow a more stable type of printing... If you have windows, the printer properties in in the control panel's printers folder.
"spooling" when printing TurboCAD image
Spooling is a PC thing not printer
Printer spool is an area of reserved memory which collects date for the printer before sending off - it seems it is not big enough to cope with the image size you are dealing with.
check out the Computer route to adjust the spool memory size.
