I do some drawing in TC 10.2 pro. Today, the printer gets stuck, when I check its status in the printer window, it says it is "spooling". I reinstalled the driver, shut off everything again and again.
I can capture the screen and paste it into Word, and it will print. Are there any TurboCAD/Epson geeks out there with a good fix?

Re:
Spooling is a PC thing not printer
Printer spool is an area of reserved memory which collects date for the printer before sending off - it seems it is not big enough to cope with the image size you are dealing with.
check out the Computer route to adjust the spool memory size.

STEVE you have to print it as a tiled image. there is an update on the epson website for this issue. basicly anything over 90" you have to tile as two images split in half with no border in between if that makes sense. they explain it well in the update. when its something 120" x 36" lets say i run the set up at 36 x 60 then go to the page set up and there should be a box for tie image when you preview it again it shows the tiled image put back to back. you also have to tell it toreverse the print. i use adobe cs2 illustrator and it works well.

The "spool" is a combination of disk-space on your 'C:' drive, and software to "accept" the print-image (as fast as MS Word can create the print-image), and save the print-image to disk-space,
so that MS Word can report "print completed", so that you can use MS Word, instead of waiting until the physical printing has completed.
Then, the printer-spooling software will read from the print-image file, and send it to the printer, only as fast as the printer will accept it.
you can try these steps:
1.Check if the firewall is blocking any printer services
2.Check what port the printer is using (reenable the bi-directional support) and if it's on online mode
3.Disable all the firewalls
4.Uninstall the printer driver and software, then remove the usb cable of the printer.

Will TurboCAD allow you to export to a .pdf instead of printing to a .pdf? Have you tried printing to a file (.prn) before turning the file to a .pdf? To print to a file, click Print Setup, there should be a box to check to Print To File. Make sure you check that box. Then you should be asked to pick a file format which should be .prn if you are using windows. After you create the .prn file, then open Acrobat and convert the .prn to a .pdf. I hope this helps you with your problem. Printing can be a pain with CAD programs.
I don't know if this will help but your best solution would be to have a friend at a local office or school print it for you. In the US we have Kinkos, OfficeMax that will print for so much money per page.
For the manual, you could always go to the TurboCad website and perhaps see if they have a manual you can purchase. Call the US telephone support line: 1-800-833-8082, they might be able to sell you a printed copy.
go to test print on the printer panel, in there you can find nozzle check test print pattern, status check, and job info. try to select and print the job info, in the printout you will find the 10 previous jobs. status check informs you if your printers life and consumables is in near end. hope my advice cud help you.
