Lexmark usually does not distribute replacement install disk.

Contact Lexmark here, to see if the disk is available.


If you do not have the disk you must download the software from Internet, follow instructions below,

A web page will open, follow instructions, select model, select operative system etc., and click on download .
Chose to download the file in my documents when asked.
Afterdownloading,findthe file,doubleclick on the file, if you get introubles ,thenfollowinstructions below to reset and reinstall:

• Unplug printer USB.
• Go to control panel >> installed printers in Windows and remove (delete ) any installed printer from printer list.
• Download driver from website and run the file.
  
• Follow driver installation wizard.
• Plug back printer when prompted from installation wizard.

Note:some printer does not work on Vista

type X5250 where it says Search by Model.

Next page choose your operating system.

Follow the steps to download the driver.

I also misplaced my cd to install my x5250 lexmark printer

Follow this link, select your operator system(OS) and download your driver...

1. On your PC, go to Start, Programs (Windows XP: All Programs), Lexmark series.
2. Select the Solution Center.
3. When the Solution Center appears, click on the Maintenance button.
4. Select the option to Install a new print cartridge. The carrier should slide over at this point and allow you to insert and/or remove cartridges.
5. Make sure the correct cartridges are installed inside the printer first, then inform the software which cartridges have been installed. Note: This applies also to installation of a single cartridge.
6. Print the Print Alignment page to ensure the print quality is satisfactory.
7. Close the Solution Center.

Try to ensure that the top is firmly closed....

set..down..hut one..hut two..watch the line backers...on three...

check for a place to recycle that printer too.

ok..that's from a really bad printer power supply..can you check the output voltage on that power pack?
