This can happen if you install a CLP-500 cartridge OR a Xerox Phaser 6100 cartridge.
Physically they are the same, but the 'chip' is different.
In the case of the Xerox, it is the programing of the chip that 'tells' the printer its a Xerox cartridge, and the printer won't accept this as valid.
If it's a CLP-500, the three contacts on the side of the cartridge have a resistor (for the capacity of the cartridge) and a falmeproof fusible resistor which resets tha page counter (for that cartridge) when a new cartridge is installed.

Might be the same problem that we see on the CLP 310s. Bad exit sensor. Go to YouTube and watch this video: 5fJHykzkfww
You can get the part on eBay for about $10 and it's a fairly simple 15 minute fix.
put tape across the 3 contacts on the side of the cartridge, reinsert cart into printer, restart printer, holding down the Menu key until a message "Uncheck consumables" appears, then let Menu key up.
I turned my printer off. When I turned it on the next day I had the green light and was good to go. I noticed that if I leave the printer on, I eventually get the orange light. This model of printer must have a bad cooling fan and overheats.
yes refilling will solve the problem.but you have to change the green colour small chip on the side of the toner to make it work,as the new chip will be detected as new toner in the printer.
If the wrinkles are small and appear to be pressed into the paper, then the problem is most likely with the fuser assembly. Check it for roller damage or other problems and replace.
You could be a little more specific. Anyway, try to clean the manual feed rollers with a rag embedded in alcohol and then clean them with a dry rag. Try again and see if it solved your problem. If not, you might need professional help.
