Doesn't work, my friend. In step 7, pressing the ENTER button generates the actual number of images used on the transfer belt. No mention of a percentage and no RESET option.

Drat! Lots of solutions on the Internet. Trouble is, they all work no better than yours.

Samsung CLP 510 just replaced transfer belts, imaging unit and fuser but now am getting what looks like wet spots on the prints

Hello,

Some toner may have spilled in the printer. If so, you will need to clean it out. Also, the toner cartridge may be defective and letting too much toner out at one time, the solution is to replace the toner cartridge.

Take care.

Can you tell me how to replace the transfer belt imaging unit?

First you open the left side door, then press the button and lift the top cover, the transfer unit is the first on top with a handle and levers to release. The drum unit is under that also with blue levers to release.

Says transfer belt and imagining unit are bad. Still working. Are these things I can replace or are these warnings early just to get me to buy parts?

Transfer belt is not an essential replace. But a bad imaging unit may cause heating issues, lost toner to fill your printer with dust interfering with sensors, and a slew of other issues left unchecked. That said, you could run for a while before either became a serious threat.

It's a lot like running your car without oil...you can do it, but when it goes it will be gone!

Samsung printer problems clp-510 I've had this printer for just over two years - good printer. However recently it is producing very dirty print outs, there are repeated patterns of smudges. What can I...

Too many things for just one solution, If transfer belt is worn out, you'll get that, color drums can cause that, when the fuser wears out toner sticks and transfers to new prints. You have to unplug machine in the middle of a print cycle before print goes into fuser and determine if the problem is fuser or before

Samsung CLP 510 Imaging Unit

The Imaging unit needs to be replaced when the drum fills up with waste toner. That's what triggers the message.

I've also seen this sort of thing caused by a crusty build-up of toner on a wiiper blade on the Transfer Belt, and or Drum.
