After refilling your ink, it may prompt your ink very low... but it is nature there is no problem and effect for that... don worry! All the Canon printer prompt like that.... thanks

Feeder Problems

• 5 Pull out all of the paper supply in the printer and make sure that all pieces of paper are flat and whole. Any folded corners, crumpled sheets or torn pieces should be thrown away.
• 6 Check the size of the paper you are using and check the paper guide on the supply to make sure the paper is the correct size. The paper guide is the small plastic clip that holds the paper steady in the feeder.
• 7 Open the cover of the printer and make sure there is no paper stuck within the feed rollers. You should pull out the jammed paper if there is any, including any little torn pieces that may be stuck inside.
• 8 Clean out the feed rollers with compressed air to remove any dirt inside the printer and refill the paper supply.

Ink Problems

• 9 Check the ink levels in your cartridges to see if you have to replace the ink. You can do this through the control panel of your printer software. If you don't know where to find these controls, just search your computer for 'printer drive'.
• 10 Open the cover of the printer and wait for the ink cartridges to stop in front of you within the printer. This will allow you to take them out and replace them with full ones.
• 11 Pull the cartridges out of the printer. The number of cartridges and how to remove them will vary with your model of printer, but usually there is a small clip holding the top edge of the cartridge in place. Just push this clip back and pull the ink out.
• 12 Pull the protective seal off the head of the new ink cartridge. This is where the ink comes out and when you pull off the seal it will allow the ink to descend.
• 13 Drop the ink cartridges into the printer and push each cartridge into place. If there are clips you will hear them click when the cartridges are in place.
• 14 Run a diagnostics test on your ink heads if your ink problems persist after refilling the ink. This will help you clear out the heads.

SOME OF THE (MOST) BRIG A DRIVER CD. ONE THING YOU SHOULD HAVE IN MIND IS THAT WHEN INSTALLING YOU BJC-80 IT WONT PRINT UNLESS YOU GO TO PRINTER PROPERTIES, PORTS AND UNMARK "BIDERECTIONAL COMPATIBILITY", THE GO TO ADVANCED OPTIONS AND CHECK ON "PRINT DIRECTLY TO THE PRINTER", OR SOMETHING LIKE THAT. This model Canon printer has onlt an USB connection to a computer.The only way to connect this printer to a router is to install a printer server with an USB connector, connect the printer to the print server and then connect the print server to the router using a LAN cable.The printer driver needs to be installed on all the computers on your network and then to the printer properties then Port tab and add a TCP/IP port then configure this port with the print server's IP address.Do a test print and if the test print is OK then printer is installed correctly.

If your cartridge is tricolor, surely one of the colors are finished, try placing the outlet on cartridge ink with a paper check you have the three color ink. Sometimes also be due to poor ink refill, I recommend using original cartridges, so you just make sure your cartridges are working properly ...good luck

Hello!To reset your printer please follow the instruction step by step.1. Turn off the printer without pulling the power cords. 2. Hold down Resume button and press Power button. 3. Keep holding down Power button and release the Resume button. 4. Now Press Resume button 5 times then release both button. 5. You will notice that the Alternate Blinking error is gone, this means that the printer is ready to use. good luck

1. Purchase Cartridge No. 810 & 811. 2. Press Stop/Reset button for 5 seconds without releasing the button. 3. After 5 seconds your printer will start its process... now release the button.

This is an indication that the waste tank counter is full. This can be reset by using the following method.

Step 1: enter in service mode in order to used the resetter:

• Turn off the printer without pulling the power cords.
• Hold down Resume button and press Power button.
• Keep holding down Power button and let Resume button go.
• Then Press Resume button 5 times then let both buttons go.
• The Alternate Blinking error is gone: the printer is in Service Mode state.

Step 2:

• Extract the resetter and double click "servicetool.exe"
• Click Reload Button and you will get a new USB port.
• Load some papers in your printer and press the "Main" Button, wait until it shows "error 001" then press OK.
• Then press "EEPROM" button and the printer will print some text, after that click OK
• Then power off the printer (sometimes you have to press twice the power button to turn off) and turn on again.
• That's done.
