I can not pick up
Hello,
There are to reasons for this; 1. it's either the antenna of your GPS has loosed contact or defective and 2. Maybe the area you are at that particular point in time does not have a good reception.
So check/consider the above two mentioned.
Also, you can also reset the GPS as this might solve the problem. To reset; Unplug the power supply cord from the unit. Unplug the power supply cord from the outlet. Reinsert the plug after five seconds. Insert the power supply cord into the DV 5V input jack on the right hand side of the GPS unit. Resume use of the Nextar GPS and the reset has been completed.

I have a GPS system
It seems that the firmware is corrupted. Please have it rinstalled from the service center of the brand.

Can you re~programe a nextar
Because the Nextar has built in maps this does make it extremely difficult to change. When these devices were brought out the company wanted them to stay fixed to one location and they did this by permanently writing the map data to eprom. There are ways you can "modify" your device however this is not legal unless you own the original software that is used to "modify" the device. It is also risky as you can render your device unusable if things go wrong.
Sorry that I cannot be of more help but this is just one of those quirky little devices that the company really didn't want being used outside of its map area.

Hgps35 missing or cooupted mapdata
First, press the "Reset" button or push the stylus into the "Reset" hole, to see if the navigation software can load successfully. If the program still does not load, then the software may be corrupted. Also, if the internal memory fails to read or write and the software cannot load properly, it may be caused by hardware failure. In either case, please return the unit for exchange or repair to the retail location from which you purchased it, or contact us for further assistance.

Lost the sd card
In that case just buy a new one - you didn't said the exact model so for a better compatibility use one that is 2 GB or smaller. Then all you have to do is to put it in your unit to be configured by it and it's as good as new.

software or hardware failure. First, press the "Reset" button or push
the stylus into the "Reset" hole, to see if the navigation software can
load successfully. If the program still does not load, then the

I just purchased the nextar Q4-06 GPS. I set it
Try plugging it into your car with the AC Adapter. I just bought one too and had a problem getting it to do anything until I charged the battery and then everything worked great. Hope it works out for you.

On my Nextar GPS X11-15302.
First connect the GPS to your computer using the cable that came with it. Then see if it gets charged from computer and stops giving the problem. If it does work fine, then you know that car charger has issues or the car plug isnt giving right output.

I purchased a Q4 unit
the warranty period of this GPS is 12 months parts and labor, but don't wait to send it back for warranty, they will not honor it if you go even a few days over, contact Nextar customer service ASAP for a warranty return label, the number is in your user guide, YOU MUST HAVE A WARRANTY RETURN AUTHORIZATION LABEL TO SEND PHONE IN FOR WARRANTY SERVICE.
