PS1 games, please help. HiIf it will play DVD's this is a good sign. You will only need to clean the lens of the laser. Also clean the hub that the Disc rides on. I hope your in the right posting area

ps1 won't play dvds or ps2 games. your ps2 isn't reading cause your drive is dying. you can get a lil more out of it by opening the ps2 up, (void your warranty if you have one you will yess....) after

power swicth is not on then try this ..... your will need set of screwsdrivers along with alien keys , gently open the playstation and  watch over all the pcb circuit, locate all the fuses marked
