Radio speakers on 2008 ultra classic quit working, headset ok.

The headsets on for my bike works great, but when i toggle switch for speakers they would work park of the time and now they don't work at all.

SOURCE: radio comes on --but speakers do not works

Check your three position switch on the dash.
One position is front speakers - one is both front and back and one is helmet only

There is a fuse for the radio. It is probably blown. A lot of times the wires get chafed on the fairing brackets and cause the fuse to blow. If you put a new fuse in and it blows again then I would check the wiring. You will have to remove the fairings to find the chafed wires more than likely. Usually it is the left horizontal fairing bracket that gets the radio wires. Unless you have recently had any upgrades. If you have had any upgrades lately, then it might be a little more difficult to find the short. Let me know if you have had any upgrades and we will go from there.

My Panasonic 7130 works great on speaker phone but the hand set does not work. Replacing the handset does not solve the problem. The jack and wires to handset are OK. Is there an easy fix?

Sounds like headset mode is on. Depending on your system there is a code in programming to toggle that feature. It should be in the users guide

Switch is fine. You have a damaged audio circuit caused by vibration. Check the bikes mounting brackets. probably broken. The radio will need to be repaired. www.ironcrossaudio.com

When I have my headphones in the volume works but when I take them out it dosn't work anymore

THIS MAY HELP!

For PSP Go owners, a very cool feature is the ability to pair bluetooth devices with the system. This recipe will show you how to toggle between outputting audio between the PSP Go’s speakers/headphone jack and a bluetooth headset/speaker.
1. Pair your bluetooth device with your PSP Go.
-Go to Settings > Bluetooth Device Settings
-Be sure to turn the Bluetooth Connection ON. Then select Manage Bluetooth Devices.
-Click on Register New Devices; put your headset into pairing mode and pair it with the PSP Go by following the onscreen prompts.
2. Once your headset/device is paired. Be sure to leave the Bluetooth Connection on.
3. Finally, open up the music player or a game and when you want to switch between the PSP Go’s speaker or your headset, just hold the Audio button on top for about 7 seconds. It will change the volume icon w/a bluetooth icon and audio on your PSP Go should start outputting via your headset.
To toggle back to speakers/headphones, again hold the audio button for about 7 seconds and it will switch back.
This should work with any bluetooth headset and does not require it being a stereo headset (ie any $5 headset should work).

Front speaker just quit

I doubt there is a fuse. There are only four possibilities:
1. Speaker blown. 2. Wire slipped off of speaker terminal. 3. Wires from radio to speaker is shorted (not likely). 4. Radio is bad.
My guess is speaker is bad. Try pushing the cone inward while the radio is playing to see if you are getting any sound from the speaker if you do then the speaker is bad and needs to be replaced.
Good luck!
