You must be replacing the radio with a stock PT cruiser radio. ( one that normally comes with the car, Not aftermarket.) recommend looking on back of radio for a radio ID number, then calling a dealer and giving them the VIN to the vehicle and the radio ID number. Once you do get the number, write it down and keep it somewhere Safe BESIDES in the car. This is a anti theft feature, so if someone steals your radio they wont be able to use it. Also if your battery every goes dead and your car looses power, you will need to re enter this number in the radio in order for it to work. ...best of luck
