You must get the pins somehow and slot them into the holes at the front of the headunit, then just pull it out.

I want to disconnect my stereo in nissan almera

Disconnecting the stereo in a Nissan Almera typically involves the following steps:
  1. Turn off the car engine and remove the key from the ignition to ensure your safety.
  2. Locate the stereo unit in your Nissan Almera. It's usually located in the center console of the car's dashboard.
  3. Use a flat-head screwdriver or a panel removal tool to gently pry off the plastic cover or trim that surrounds the stereo unit.
  4. Once the cover is removed, you should see the stereo unit's wiring harness, which will be plugged into the back of the stereo. Gently unplug the harness by pressing on the release tab or lever and pulling the connector out of the socket.
  5. Once you have disconnected the wiring harness, you should be able to remove the stereo unit from the dashboard.
  6. If you want to completely remove the stereo from your car, you may need to remove any screws or bolts that are holding it in place. However, in some cases, the stereo may simply slide out of the dashboard once the wiring harness is disconnected.
  7. Once you have removed the stereo unit, you can reinstall the plastic cover or trim that you removed in step 3.
It's important to note that if you're not comfortable working with car electronics, or if you're unsure about any of the steps involved in disconnecting your stereo, it's best to consult a professional mechanic or car audio installer for assistance.

How do you remove radio, from my 2001 dodge neon, that just went dead, for no reason. I replaced the fuse on the side of dash board. Still nothing.

Safety Precautions
  • Before removing the stereo or any other electrical component, it is vital that you first disconnect the grounding cable from the Neon's battery. The grounding cable connects the battery to the frame or chassis of the vehicle.

Use a Phillips-head screwdriver to loosen the grounding cable's camp from the negative battery lead. Make sure to rest the clamp away from the negative lead post until the removal is complete.
  • Remove the Dash Trim Panel
  • The dash trim panel that surrounds the Neon stereo needs to be removed to access the stereo. The panel contains, but is not connected to, the climate control knobs on the dashboard.

Grab the panel at the bottom corners and pry it from the dash. You will likely be able to remove the panel without the assistance of a trim pry tool, but if you are having difficulty removing the panel by hand, wrap a thin cloth around a trim panel removal tool or flat head screwdriver to remove the panel.

Once the lower edge of the panel is relieved from the panel, you can work your hands (or flat pry tool) around the perimeter to separate the remaining edges.

Since the panel is not connected to the climate control knobs, you will not need to disconnect the wiring to the knobs. The panel, once free, can be set aside until you replace the stereo.
  • Remove the Stereo
  • The Neon stereo deck is held into the stereo mounting bracket by 10 millimeter bolts on either side of the radio. Remove the bolts and store them in the ashtray for safe-keeping.

Pull the stereo from the dock. The unit will easily slide from the mounting bracket with an even pull from the left and right of the stereo. Pull the stereo far enough to reach the wiring on the rear of the radio.

The wiring to the stereo includes the antenna, the power supply and the speaker wires. There may also be patch cables connected if an amplifier is connected to your stereo system. Pull the cables from the stereo. The antenna and power supply are single cables. The speaker wires (and patch cables) will be grouped by wire binders. The plastic wire binders should be pulled as a unit. Do not pull the wires themselves.

Once the wiring has been disconnected from the stereo, the unit will be completely free from the Neon.

If you plan to operate the vehicle before installing a new stereo or re-installing the factory deck; reconnect the grounding cable to the negative battery lead. Otherwise, leave the cable away from the negative lead until all of your work is completed.

HOW DO YOU REMOVE STEREO FROM 2000 BMW

    Hello,

Before removing the stereo you need to ensure that the battery's grounding cable is
disconnected from the negative lead. Most BMW models have the battery housed under
the hood while others (a relative few) store the battery on the left side of the
vehicle in the trunk. Use a 10 mm wrench to loosen the bolt holding the clamp of
the grounding cable around the negative lead.

Use a trim pry tool to remove the vent housing above the stereo.
The vents can be removed to allow access to the stereo or removed completely.
Once the perimeter of the vent housing is loose from the dash, you can feed the
wiring that connects to the hazard light button through the front of the vents.
With the hazard switch pushed forward, simply disconnect the power supply to
    completely free the vent assembly.

The climate control group at the bottom of the stereo also needs to be removed to
access the stereo. The climate control housing can be removed by hand. Grab the
climate control at the bottom and the top. Pry from the bottom and remove.
The climate controls do not need to be removed completely. When it is free from
the dash there will be enough slack in the wiring to allow you to place it aside
    to access the stereo.

There are two screws that hold the factory stereo in its dock. Those screws,
located on either side of the stereo facing upward, can be removed using
Phillips-head screwdriver. Once the screws are removed, the deck slides forward to
allow access to the wiring at the rear of the stereo. The wire groups at the rear
need to be removed and can be done so in any order. The four wiring groups connect
to the antenna, the amplifier, the speakers, and the power supply (the battery).

If you plan to install an aftermarket stereo, most will be compatible with BMW
wiring. If not, you can connect the wiring groups to a wiring harness adapter
before connecting to the new unit.

    Take care and good luck
