Radio conector problem

I ahve a 92 camry that I am putting in a factory radio cassett CD player. I installed the amp and wireing harness that routes under the pass seat and up to and behind radio. Problem is that the 2 radio plugs appear to plug into the wireing harness to the amp but the 3rd plug from the amp does not fit the radio. it is totally different. The 2 plugs that plug into the amp also fit the radio just fine. Is there another piece for the wireing harness that I am missing??

Try halfords they do a lot of car audio conectors. You give them the name of of the product your fitting and the car you want to fit it in.usually a universal plug is offered.plug it in your radio then into your loom and away you go.No additional wiring no mess.Usually costa around £7.Hope this helps.

Purchased Pioneer FX52OUI radio and want to know is there a connector to go from the original radio connector to the new radio for a 2001 Toyota Camry XLE

You can pick up a harness at walmart. You have to wire your radio harness to the new harness then just plug it in. Here is a link to the harness kit.

No second harness. You have a bad cd player. Optional plugs may be for on star, steering wheel controls, cd changer etc.

I am trying to install a ford factory CD/cassette radio ford part number XL2F-18C868-BB in my 1996 Explorer XL. Everything plugs in fine but there is no sound. I've checked the wire harness and everything...

There is a separate plug for the speakers, if you are replacing a non factory radio then maybe these speaker cables were re-routed to an amp. or something?

Need Toyota Camry radio/cassette/cd model 86120 33100 harness

You can try any Circuit City or any car stereo place or you can wire it yourself you just have to figure out which wire is power, ground, front and rear speakers. Yeah the hornance makes it easier but it can be done without it

Up grade 1988 camry radio

Yes, you can.  This is a standard "DIN" opening.  Width and height are specified; but not depth.  The plastic empty space tray immediately below the radio - actually make this a "2 Din space"

If you are electrically savy - carefully remove the black trim bezel (two hidden fasteners in the middle section and a couple at the bottom; and a hidden white plastic tab buried way in the back at the bottom - need a long screwdriver to release - accessed only after removing the ash-tray...

I am not aware of any pre-existing wire harness adapter...

Electrically savy - get the above out -  and then measure the available depth.  You can get several molex connectors from Radio Shack, and cut the current wires - and put connectors on them - so that you can reconnect the original factory radio easily.  Unplug those, and make molex fittings going to the wiring for your new radio connecting to the molex you put on the factory wiring.

I'm currently looking at putting in a satellite navigation radio with screen, dvd player, etc. into my 1988 Camry which I've owned since new.  Only new car we ever bought....  Good luck.

Wiring difference

If your installing a stock radio/cd player from another Dodge the wiring plug is the same and will fit.If your installing a aftermarket radio/cd player(JVC,Pioneer, etc)you will need to buy a adapter plug that wires up to the radio and is a direct fit to your factory wire harness,so your not cutting your wires. When you buy the adapter plug it comes with a wire diagram of which wire is what.Your aftermarket radio should have a diagram also, either on it or in the manual.Hope this helps you.

Can I install a a 2007 Camry CD/Radio unit in my 2002 Camry?

The 2002 and the 2007 radio connections are markedly different. Remember that the 2007's are "satellite ready"; this changes the back side wiring configurations dramitically.
