Reverse light problem

do you have a voltage meter, reversing is independent line, ignition to fuse to switch to light, follow the main wire to the rear lights you may find there is a brake in the wire, mostly go were there is a rubber joint covering or behind the seats at rear. would check to see if its live, reversing switch side is earth state. so check you have a good earth. some models had an extra earthing wire from the gear box to the shell of the underneath.

My resverse lights on my mazda 323 GLXi wont work Ive replaced bulb and checked fuses any other ideas?

There is a switch in the shifter that turns the reverse lights on when you put it in reverse. This switch is your problem.

Reverse fuse

No such item used. The reverse lights are ran through the electrical selector switch mounted on the transmission. When a light bulb burns out it acts just like a fuse blowing out. The headlights and tail lights have a fuse for many more wiring connections are present

Mazda 3 reverse light problems

Check the bulbs if fuse not gone, otherwise it is the reverse switch sensor on the gearbox, not an expensive part but not easy to replace by your own

Mazda 6 reverse lights

ITS POSSIBLE THAT YOUR REVERSE LIGHT SWITCH IS FAULTY BEST WAY TO FIND OUT IS TO DISCONNECT REVERSE SWITCH AT G/BOX & BRIDGE OUT CONNECTIONS WITH IGN ON & IN REVERSE LIGHTS SHOULD GO ON IF THEY DO THEN ITS YOUR SWITCH.
