How bad is the leak? A 'Factory Fitted' sun roof will usually leak for a few common reasons. It isn't closed properly, (Yes I've done that!). The drain channels are clogged and full of dirt so the water is pooling up in the runners and leaking in. The seals are starting to fail. On a 05 plate the rubber seals will probably be the factory originals so will be old and may have started to go bad so the sunroof isn't watertight anymore.
Your first option is give the rails and sliders a good clean. Open the sun roof to it's widest and give the runners and the channels a heavy duty clean. An old toothbrush, toothpicks and cotton buds are great for getting into the troublesome areas. When clean lubricate the moving areas with Silicone Grease.
Standard types of Grease or Lithium Grease are Petrolium based so can be bad for rubber seals, Silicone is mineral based so doesn't damage the seals.
most upholsterers should be able to help here If not go to a rubber dealer that sells sponge rubber etc as most have a good selection of auty trim rubbers that you can fit yourself. The best glue is loctite 406 Be careful as it is a super glue
Hi, Most likely, if its leaking, its done for. I have never heard of "cleaning" a gasket. Usually the oil and heat make the rubber compound hard or deformed causing the leak. You can order a new one online at rockauto.com or JC Whitney. You will need to order it by vehicle year and engine size.

Check for a drain hole around the sunroof and spray the rubber with spray can silicone spray to soften the weatherstripping so it will be easier to seal
lift rubber edges and apply clear silicon sealant under edges let cure hose with water to test, if leak then seal edges of glass with eurothane sealant, not silicon will rot in sun within year
How do i fit new seals
