How do I find the crankshaft position sensor on the 2012 Dodge Avenger 2.4 liter 4 cylinder

Register for free at Autozone.com, and list this Avenger as your car. Then you can look under "repair guides" and find ":component locations" for the sensor. They probably also have removal procedures for helping you locate and remove it.

I own a 2012 dodge avenger 2.4L engine and my crankshaft position sensor needs to be replaced. My question is where exactly is that located?

My info says rear of engine. Check close to where flywheel would be. The picture that my database shows, there is no orientation, you can't tell what your looking at in the picture.
