Will idle fine but when pressing on gas peddle it bogs down won't go more than 5 mph

Hook up a fuel gauge and see how much fuel pressure you have under acceleration.

Sounds like the accelerator linkage or kick down band of the transmission need adjustment.

if your exhaust smells like rotten eggs then yes ,,if not you need new coils and plugs/wires ..My thinking from what you stated is that you have a stopped up fuel filter and injectors need cleaned ..I am 90% sure of the later part

Whats the fuel pressure at idle ?
And is the check engine light on ?

Has the car had a scan tool hooked up and checked for fault codes, do that.

I will suggest that you replace the fuel filter

The air cleaner mighty be clogged causing insufficient air supply. That is why it runs fine on idle because less air is needed and when the engine demands for more air, there isn't enough.
