The chances are that this is one of the rubbers in the inley valve vibrating at a high frequency as water rushes past it. Usually the result of high water pressure, though occasionally low pressure (But I would expect you to describe that as a low humm, so lets presume the pressure is a bit high).
Your machine may be cold fill only or hot AND cold fill. The chances are highest that the COLD feed is the issue (Hot water is usually at a lower pressure) so start there.
Try reducing the pressure to the feed, if you have no specific way of doing this, then simply go to the isolator valve where the feed pipe to the machine meets the plumbing and slowly turn it off. as you turn the lever on the valve, the noise will probably reduce long before you have actually isolated the water supply completely. Leave the isolator valve lever in that position.
