Predictably, its useless when performing maintenance such as keyboard replacement, but page 82 indicates that this laptop supports "most USB-compatible [external] keyboards", so, while the chicklet keyboard is down, you can boot and use the system with a workaround USB keyboard.
If you new user is an Administrator you can reset the original user password or delete the user. The exact method will depend on the operating system. Post your operating system and I will provide more details.

To erase a message while playing, press the ON/OFF ERASE button. To delete all old message, while not playing or recording a message, press and hold the ON/OFF ERASE button until "MESSAGES ERASED" appears.

You need to use the special Norton removal tool. It used to be called NoNav, but they've apparently changed it. Because of the way Norton installs, you can't just "uninstall" it like a normal program. It wraps itself around your system and registry in a bunch of places, so you have to use their special tool.
