'93 Camry V6 problem with door locks

Another problem that I have with my '93 4 door Camry V6 is that the automatic door locks for the front doors no longer work, although the rear doors are locking fine when I push the master door lock button. The front locks move slightly but don't seem to have enough power to actually lock? Any suggestions appreciated.

    Thanks:

Are the power lock actuators fairly accessible or do they need extensive labor to get to?

Your power lock actuators are bad in the front doors.

the door panels will have to come off they are built into the door latches. depending on your mechanical level it can be aggravating due to the lock/door latch rods having to come off

1999 Toyota Camry door lock and unlock issues

I believe this was done as a safety feature. It stops a potential car hyjacker from sneaking in the passenger door when you open the driver door. I know recent Hyundai models are set up such that if you turn the key in the driver's door once it only unlocks the driver's door. If you turn it twice in quick succession it unlocks all of the doors. Maybe the Camry is set up the same way.
