Windows 7 64bit, home network. Lexmark interpret s405 all in one.Trying to scan with windows fax and scan. can printer with no problem. windows fax and scan cannot find scanner. I look in device manager printer ok but there is no scanner listed. Have uninstalled and reinstalled. still cannot scan with windows fax and scan.

You'll have to reconnect your printer back to your wireless network since you changed the router.

You can just reinstall the software for your printer and connect your printer to your network.

It could be a printer driver issue. Please follow the steps below to fix the problem.
First, clear the print queue from any stuck print jobs. You can do the steps mention - going to Services and stop the print spooler, delete the files in the spooler folder and then restart the service.
Second, delete the existing Lexmark Interpret S405 printer driver. On your computer, go to Start menu > Programs > Lexmark > Uninstall. After the uninstall process, reboot your pc when prompted.

You want to click the "More>>" button to find the link called "Complete drivers and software for setting up,....". You probably dont need to update the firmware unless there is a problem after installing.
