Hello Rpope808,

I understand that your Refridgerator is not getting cold. I do not know if it is just the fridge or the fridge and freezer. If both are getting warm then you need to make sure the compressor is running in the back at the bottom of the fridge it will be humming. If the compressor is not running then nothing is going to get cold.

If the compressor is running then you may have a problem with your fan not running inorder to move around the cold air. Below are two tips that will help you to check both of them.

1. Compressor not Running
2. Fridge not getting cold

Thank you for choosing FixYa.com

Error code 88 88

The 88 88 code indicates a modem communication error in the refrigerator. This error is not applicable in the U.S. It should be ignored. The control will conduct a self diagnostic check when it is powered up. When this code is encountered it will just need to be cleared and the refrigerator will resume normal operation. To clear the code, press and hold the POWER FREEZE and POWER COOL buttons simultaneously. NOTE: Be sure to press these two buttons at EXACTLY the same time -- no sound will be heard when the buttons are both pressed properly). HOLD the buttons down for about 8 to 12 deliberate seconds until the control beeps and goes blank. Leave the control in this diagnostic test mode and allow it to exit after it times out in that mode. This will take several minutes. When the test mode clears the fault code 88 88 and returns to normal operation, you should be able to set the controls on the unit and it will work normally.

When i unplug the timer then reset a new time schedule and plug timer back into wall my timer sets to 88:88. whats am i doing wrong? this timer worked brilliantly until i reset and plugged it back in.

Open following link to identify timer and read instructions:
http://waterheatertimer.org/How-to-program-Utilitec-0155671.html

Timers go bad for many unprovoked reasons.
Check outlet with circuit analyzer.

This timer has 1 year limited warranty.
Extended warranty: If timer is defective, then buy new one from Target or Lowes, and return defective timer in new package.

To review:
Replace AA battery if this model has a battery carriage. Otherwise timer has internal rechargeable battery.
Press reset button with paper clip for a few seconds.
88:88-88 will flash on screen momentarily, and then 12:00 am will display. Timer is ready for programming.
If 88:88-88 does not roll over into the 12:00 am display, try resetting again.
If timer will not hold new programming, and keeps resetting, then see if reset button is stuck.
If timer does not reset and re-program correctly, then timer has gone bad.
