I have a front loading LG washing machine approximately 2 years old and now it will not unlock the door when the cycle is finished. The child lock is not on and there is no water in the tub but the door will not unlock. It makes the clicking sound as it always has at the end of a cycle as if it is unlocking the door but the door will not unlatch.

You will need to manually unlock the door... remove the top two screws in the back ..reach way down at the bottom of the door lock there is a pull down on the lock it will release the door... if your arms are not long enough use a bent coat hanger....once you have the door open .. remove the wire around the gasket .. remove outer gasket unscrew door lock. unplug wires and replace door lock...

hope it helps

Electrolus front load washer door won't open

Hello - Try resetting the unit by unplugging it or flipping the household circuit breaker off. Wait approximately ten minutes. If the door does not open, then it sounds like the washer is possibly experiencing a communication problem with the control board, wiring failure or faulty door lock. Contact a professional to move forward accurately to properly diagnose/repair unit.

I pushed the 'pause' button during the wash cycle of my LG WD-3274HD and now the door won't open.

Hi!

The machine knows it dint't finish the washing cycle, and, because it may be possible that water is still a lot inside, the door is locked.
If you are shure the door can be opened without the water coming out by the door, simply disconnect it from the electrical supply and wait a few minutes until the door unlocks. (you will hear the unlock click)

Good luck!

I load the clothes into the washing machine, I turn it on select cycle and the door locks and will NOT unlock. The door will however unlock after the cycle is finished.

Not sure if you're unable to open the door AFTER you stop the cycle. That may be normal operation as a safety measure (won't open until after your cycle has completed). However, if your model DOES allow for opening the door during cycle operations then your electronic door lock may be defective.

E13 error- can't unlock the door

To manually unlock the door lock system, perform the following steps:
1. Unplug the power cord from the outlet.
2. Remove the lower toe panel.
3. Reach up along the inside of the front panel and locate the bottom of the door latch assembly.
4. Located on the bottom of the door latch assembly is a teardrop shaped tab. Gently pull the tab down approximately 1/4 inch, or until a click is heard.
5. The door may now be manually opened.
