sounds like your clutch could be slipping not giving you full speed spin, i've heard you can install a #10 washer into the clutch spring cap and it would work fine , keeping you from replacing the clutch!
hi there. the best way to determine this is to measure the inside length, height and width and you will get cubic feet. Just be sure to convert each measure to feet. For instance 2 feet 4 inches = 2.33 feet.
Model # and info is under the lid. Open lid and look directly under it - area facing you. You should see a small silver tag with all the factory info on it. My washer is also 9 years old.
