Can't forward from my vtech to my att cell no matter what I'd do

Call forwarding is NOT a function or feature of the VTech 6041
cordless phones.

It is offered by some telephone service providers, but their
procedures are proprietary and specific to that individual
telephone (service) company -- if they offer it at all.

Good luck!

I lost the Instructions Manual for the cordless phone ATT DECT 6.0 Digital. How can I get a copy of it?

I'm not sure what your model number, but I did manage to find a AT&T Cordless DECT 6.0 Digital Phone Manual, it is located here:

http://att.vtp-media.com/ecp/documents/product_Product/286/UserManual/6019/TL92378_manual_USA_i6.pdf

If this is not your manual, just list your model number and I'll find it in a jiffy.

Hope this helps!

Does this answering system have a code to retrieve messages from a remote location?

The default code is 19. Pressing the setup button on the TL92278 and listening to the prompts will give you the default code 19 and the option to change it.
