Install a 2250 lexmark printer software

Please download and install the scan drivers on your computer from support.lexmark.com website. Make sure to properly filter the operating system and then click on the downloads tab, you may select the link under drivers "Complete drivers and software for setting up, configuring, and using your device" when you install you may customize and select the local scan drivers.

this is all i could find out.
COMPLETELY uninstall the printer and
reinstall it..... It may have occurred if you have your printer connected
during the installation of XP.... it is normal practice to keep the printer
disconnected during an upgrade or clean install.... and then correctly
install it afterwards.
This from the Lexmark site:

Remove the USB cord and the power cord from the back of the printer, and then remove
the USB cord from the back of the computer.
Uninstall the printer/scanner software from the Program menu and restart the system.
Check the part number on the setup CD. If it is not P/N 13H0350, you need to download
the XP driver from the Lexmark web site, www.lexmark.com.
When the PC has restarted, log in as an administrator and insert the setup CD into
the CD-ROM drive
Click OK and Install now.
Follow the setup instructions to install the scanner software. When you see Connect
the USB Cable to the printer on the screen, first attach the power cord to the
printer, then attach the USB cord to the printer, and finally attach the USB cord to
the computer.
Follow the setup instructions on the screen to complete the printer software
installation.

1. Check the USB cable connection; replug in the USB cable to printer and computer;
2. Go to Start\Control Panel\Printers\right click on lexmark printer icon, go to Properties\Advanced\ Print processor\ change to NT EMF 1.008
It will work.

Most likely you don't have drivers installed on your computer for the printer. If you have the CD that came with your printer, the drivers and software should be in there. If not, you can look up drivers on Lexmark's website or somewhere else on the internet and download the software/drivers and install it on your computer. After installing the drivers, reboot if necessary and try printing something. It should be printing by then.

I am not sure if this is software driven, or this is a PC to Fax setup?

Did you ensure you connected the usb cable and printer in order of the disc requesting you to do so.

Have you been to Lexmark site?

Have you enabled the printer in Printer settings as a default printer? It should normally do so when installed, but worth checking if you have other printing software on your comp

This is Enday, to solve your problem, try to check if you have installed the ink cartridges properly... If you have installed the software for the printer ,you must restart your system unit inorder to take effect on what changes you made..so as ther hardware to work.

Now, after restarting, click on the control panel, then printers..as you can see your printer installed,,right click on the printer icon>properties>print test page...

Just see if its working this time...
