No, as soon as it is plugged in it blinks 19, I've seen many posts with this same signal and again, why is it so difficult to find out what 19 is telling me. I am an electronics engineer so I can take this tv apart and put it back together with a schematic and all I get out of RCA is verify tv is plugged in, are there any other appliances plugged into same outlet. 19 all I need to know is what does 19 mean, what part do I need to replace???
The only error code 19 for the ITC222 chassis listed from RCA/Thomson for 19 is invalid chassis detected. Which doesnt make sense unless you have replaced a PCB with a wrong part number.
I have the service manual for the ITC222 chassis if youd like it, send a email to me at [email protected] and I will send it to you, and If I can assist you trouble shooting it let me know.

Wow, yeah invalid chassis certainly doesn't make sense, Nope have not touched inside this tv, before unplugging it the picture would try to start up and get to the size of about a 13"diagnal then shut right down, the 19 started after unplugging it for a couple of minutes, after plugging it back in no picture trying to start up, just flashing me a 1 and 9. The 19 flashes the moment of plugging the tv in, even power button does nothing to change the flashing.
can anyone tell me what code 19 means on rca chassis itc222 ????? If the tv is left unpluged for 2 to 3 days, and I go to hit the power button , the tv will come on and have no problems at all..once i turn it off and try to turn it back on regardless of interval betwwen the time i turn it on and then turned it off it will not come again, unless i unplug it and leave it that way for about 2 to 3 days.. I was told at Fixya.com that it probably was a picture tube.. So i disconected 1 tube at a time to see if that would resolve the problem, and of course it did not.. That code must have some meaning or does it ? Very fustrating problem..anyone that could tell me what code 19 means would be greatly appreciated.. Thanks in advance
RCA/Dish HD34-310 with ITC222 If I turn my set off and allow it to cool, It won't come back on until, perhaps several weeks of pressing the ON button, when I think about it. It will attempt to power up 3 times, then can't try again for several minutes. During an attempt, if I press and hold for seveal seconds, I will get a Trouble Code 19. I will try unplugging for 2-3 days, as suggested. It sounds to me like a cold solder joint, perhaps in the power supply section. I haven't had my hands in a TV for years and these newer chassis are a bit attemidating.
