Frigidaire PLD4375RFC Dishwasher Questions & Answers
My dishes come out gritty,
Could be food debris cooked into the element, or possibly scale build up in it. Either way, there are dishwasher cleaning chemicals available in shops. There will also be a filter in the wash tank that can be removed and cleaned. I would suggest getting a cleaning shot or two and running the machine on its hottest wash a few times to start with. If this doesn't sort it out then see about getting the wash tank descaled
Does not clean dishes
Hi Tim - I understand that your dishes are not coming out clean. There can be several things that you might want to try. First, make sure that your detergent is fresh. If not, try using a fresh detergent. Next thing I would try would be to make sure that everything is loaded correctly so nothing is blocking the spray arms inside, and preventing them from rotating. After that you can check to make sure that the water coming into the Dishwasher is hot enough. Try running the water into the sink until it becomes hot and then starting the dishwasher. If you're still having trouble after that, you might want to check and see if you have hard water. If you do, you'll want to make sure that you are filling the dispenser cup completely and if you have soft water you'll want to make sure that you use less detergent. The only other thing that I can think of that might cause the dishes to not be clean would be maybe the water pressure itself. If the pressure is good, you might need to reach out to a local service tech who can better pinpoint the problem for you. Best of luck!
6 mo. old frigidaire d/w displays the "ER clean S" flashing error
Probably a control panel failure. This unit does not ventfrom the front like most do, so there needs to be some clearance above the top of the tub to avoid blocking the vent fan, otherwise moisture gets trapped in the machine and works it's way into the control panel eventually.
Leaking door
They had a big problem with this model leaking at the corners of the doors. I would replace the baffle (part# 154576501) and install a splash shield kit (part# 154701001, comes with instructions)
