We were using the microwave the other night and it started making a loud noise like the fan was running (although the fan was not). We let it sit for awhile and try to use it again but the noise came...

The loud noise and no heat means that the magnetron has failed. It the part that generates the microwaves that heat the food. When it fails it shorts out, causing the transformer to heat up. That is what was causing the burning smell. The cost of a replacement magnetron is around $130-150 range so it may not make sense to have it fixed.

My GE GSS22JERF BB refrigerator, is making a clicking noise. This noise is coming from the back of the fridge. Can you tell me the problem?

The clicking noise will be the radiator expanding and contracting due to the heat exchanger removing the heat from the food in the fridge.

Danby microwave does not heat food and makes loud constant noise

IF the noise is a sound coming from the oven area, its the megatron tube. Typically, replacing the megatron tube is more expensive than replacing wiht a new unit and a new warranty.

Ge spacemaker xl 1800 - no heat

HI, the loud popping noise was the Magnetron tube. this is the main heating device. the noise filter is also damaged and, should be replaced as well.

In conclusion, replacing the Magnetron tube and noise filter will fix this unit.

No heat. light ok, noise hasn't changed. I heard a pop

It's most likely the relay for the magnetron malfunctioning. It'll need professional service.
