Hinge Replacement I need to replace the hinges on this unit. I need the parts and disassemble instructions/diagrams whatever is available. Ask-Iris has nothing for this model.

For some reason, I cannot access www.irisvista.com I get the standard "Page not available" screen. When I ping irisvista.com, I get a response, but cannot get a default.htm or index.htm, neither can I get any of the links on that server posted in this forum. ???

I am running IE6 and AVG 8 Free. Security settings are OK, internet zone medium (recommended). All browser security settings are OK. No idea why this site will not open. Ping returns 100% reply. Any ideas?

Here is the complete procedure for a Toshiba A20, that is quite similar to A45. Follow same steps. Remove battery and power cord before starting.

First, see the Sears parts site for your washer:

http://www.searspartsdirect.com/partsdirect/index.action

Enter your model number (110.#######) and you'll see a list of major sub-components with diagrams and parts.

Sears may have a replacement hinge listed. If so, you should see the part number and price. If the Sears site says that a "Manufacturers Authorized Replacement" part is listed, it's usually a Whirl[pool part available at most appliance parts stores.

Someone suggested replacing the hinge.

hinge is operated by springs that connect to the base of the unit where the adjustment legs are. The tension on thew door can be adjusted by moving the spring to the next hole on the base. Remove bottom panel of the unit at the floor area and look under the unit you will see the spring and the holes on the base frame that they hook to. Move the spring back for more tension and forward for less.

I have a broken hinge on a c300 . how do you replace that hinge. what all has to be disassembled?

Try to find the similar hinge on your c300 at the nearest HP dealer, if you can't disassemble it just bring your laptop and ask for assistant, as far as I can remember, the hinge is sold as part at affordable price.

search "gateway e-155c lcd swivel assembly" on google or any other search engine and you will find the part that you need.
You will need to do your own replacement, but that is the part that will fix your problem
