the universal remote has to be programmed first before it can it can be compattible with your television set. check on the manual for the universal remote for instructions on how to programme

I would try the company for the replacements and would obviously suggest calling the company (8:30am-5:30pm Pacific Standard) Monday-Friday.

That is what I'm talking about, not even Niko knows of a code. That is why I had to buy a learning remote like the Sony RM-AX1400.

i have a television but my regular remote is broken don't work. some universal remote control don't have the codes for the tv. i just bought a remote sony i figure it had the code but it didin't.how do i get a code for the universal remote that i bought.

I had to buy the Sony Rm-AX1400 and it learned the codes from the old remote. I found it at Bestbuy for 20 bucks. Look on ebay for one.
