Green flicker When I am recording the camera image will unexpectedly turn green and start flickering. It almost appears like the recorded image is being drug, kind of like tracking on a vcr. Unfortunately I have numerous memories recorded that are now scarred this way. My husband thought it might have something to do with the night vision because it turns green. But since I have never used that feature in the 4 years I have owned the camera, I doubt it. I really hope you can help. I have my first grandchild arriving next month.

I thank you, my daughter thanks you and my soon to arrive grandson thanks you!!! Hopefully I'll have it back by then ;o

I researched a similar problem (black screen instead of distorted) with my DCR-DVD300 and found that Sony is aware of the problem and will repair it for free. See the following link at the Sony site: http://esupport.sony.com/US/perl/news-item.pl?mdl=DCRDVD300&news_id=161

No image on LCD screen

It sounds like you're receiving partial information on the LCD screen and that the image sensor isn't sending information to the screen.

If you know the sensor is working by recording some video on an SD card and being able to view the recorded video on your PC, then there is a disconnect between the LCD and the image sensor.

If you are not recording video to your SD card and only get black images or no files, the image sensor is damaged.

If you are recording video, but no image appears on your LCD for internal viewing/playback, you can try a firmware update if one is available from www.insigniaproducts.com, but this is a discontinued item so there's not much available for support.

Hope this helps!

Screen flickers green on recording

It sounds more like a loose connection on the wires or flex cables that connects the screen to the main circuit board inside the camera.

WhenI turn on the camera, the green lights

The camera sounds like it needs repair.
Make sure that the battery is either full charged or has new batteries installed.
If the camera still cannot start, then call Canon Repair. Go to the 800j number, give them the model you have. If it is still under warranty, it may be fixed for free. repair

Flickering image on LCD lens of my Canon S410

By the sounds of it you have a bad chip on your camera system board. If the image records okay and displays okay after the image is recorded. Other than having your camera repaired you may have to use your camera as is.

Screen black in all lighting. Icons and menu show and can view photos already on card, but screen black in all modes. Can take picture, but it is also black. Lens cover is open. Nikon Coolpix 4600. Thanks...

Hello, I went and researched a few points in the manual and hope this helps to some extent. If this doesn't help, try resetting your camera by removing the batteries for 30 seconds, then reinstalling them and turning on the camera again.
Monitor is blank:
• Camera is off.
• Batteries are not correctly inserted or battery-chamber
cover is not properly latched.
• Batteries are exhausted.
• EH-62B AC adapter (available separately) is not properly
connected.
• Camera is in sleep mode. Press shutter-release button
halfway.
• Monitor is off.
• USB cable is connected.
• AV/Video cable is connected

No picture is taken when shutter release button is pressed:

• Camera is in playback mode.
• Batteries are exhausted.
• Red (!) lamp flickers: flash is charging.
• Green (AF) lamp flickers: camera unable to focus.
• Message "CARD IS NOT FORMATTED" appears in
monitor: memory card is not formatted for use in your
camera.
• Message "OUT OF MEMORY" appears in monitor:
insufficient memory to record picture at current Image
mode setting.

Mitsubishi VS-60609 60-Inch (Green Light Flicker)

Check the VU connector between the deflection and signal boards on the foil side for ring cracked connections... Pin 13 is blue and I think 12 is green... If cracked simply reflow some solder on each pin and re-assemble.

Pinkish screen and green blurred picture

Sounds like the image sensor is malfunctioning (common symptoms: distorted images with purple or green cast, completely dark images, flickering lines across the screen.)
