Can I unlock the region code for,this model dvd player? I have purchased a dvd from britain with region code 2-4 and PAL.

You will need to get a second dvd player locally to play those movies. Some DVD players allow you to change region codes but limit you to 5 changes, it locks in on the 5th.

U can't just unlock codes to made the DVD player into multiple Regions,only it is or it is not that it.The DVD player u have now it is in PAL or in NTSC regions only for functioning that it.

It's already Region Free when purchased.

Where did u bought this DVD player?US,Canada,and Mexico?The DVD disc. used NTSC region format.Asia,Europe,Africa,and the Middle East.The DVD disc. used PAL region format.They can't be mix or it will not play as u find out.If u move in and out to another region of the world.U must have a regions free DVD player to play either NTSC or PAL regions.

1. Power on
2. Tray open
3. Push MENU
4. Push 8888
5. Push Display
6. Push in desired region 0-6, (0 is ALL REGION )
7. POWER OFF
8. REGIONFREE!!

it depends on whether the drive is multi-region ?
Some drives are region Set, i.e Region 1 ( NTSC-USA )
Region 2 ( UK PAL )
Most Players Are Region Set, To the country they are purchased in, you can sometimes set the player to become, multi-region, via various buttons on the remote or by the front panel.
