I connected my samsung hitron black with my satellite dish, but now there are big stripes on the screen. Where is there a screw or something else to to some basic settings?

Both problems described are warranty-repairs due to waek chassis/hinges. The stripes/flicker appears because of the loose lvds (lcd-cable) connected to the lcd. remove the bezel and unscrew the lcd-screws, reseat and tape the lvds, voila.
It was actually a problem with the satellite feed, not the TV. Dish Network was zoomed in, hitting the asterisk button on the dish remote fixed the problem.
I have the same laptop, and though I havent had a black out problem i do have screen burn or a discoloration in the lower corners of my screen. I was told that It was due to this model's overheating issue and that I would have to replace the screen.
Need more information:
Can you isolate which color is causing the banding?
Is there something ON the lense itself?
Is the projection mirror broken or bent?
When only a half screen is produced, it is usually a upper or lower buffer board, if the top half is blank then it is the upper buffer, and of course if it's the bottom half then it's the bottom buffer board
